Team Leader, Procurement (Construction)

EQuest is currently one of the largest private education institutions in Vietnam with more than 120,000 students enrolled annually in our member schools, including K-12 schools, universities and vocational institutions, foreign language schools, as well as various Edtech platforms. EQuest is looking for potential candidates for the position of Team Leader, Procurement (Construction) with the following details:

• Creating a plan for purchasing goods and services on a regular basis according to regulation.
• Review projects and coordinate with the construction department to evaluate and major repair estimates.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers in the field of construction and infrastructure.
• Draft and negotiate commercial terms in contracts with suppliers to ensure benefits for the EQuest.
• Handle problems discovered during the purchase process: exchange goods with suppliers … (if any).
• Manage the order placement, delivery, and supervise the quality of goods, raw materials, and fuel to ensure effective and reliable progress inspection of construction projects.
• Updating the procurement/delivery process, procedures in the procurement process (budget check, placing orders, purchasing, delivery, warranty, acceptance testing, settlement of payment records…)
• Monitor the market trends and new developments in the construction industry to ensure the company utilizes the best procurement solutions.
• Provide support in financial analysis and resource allocation for construction projects.
• Report on progress and other issues to the Department Manager.
• Participate in other tasks within the scope of assigned work requirements.

Yêu cầu

• Graduated from University majoring in Economics, Construction, Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in procurement and sourcing for construction projects, with a strong background in identifying suppliers of products and services related to construction.
• Good knowledge of raw materials, and goods with the ability to monitor service quality in construction and infrastructure.
• Understanding of basic construction and infrastructure. processes.
• Ability to search and survey reputable suppliers in the market.
• Good negotiation and situation-handling skills.
• Good conversational in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office skills. 
• Ability to use softwares for material and resource estimation in construction and infrastructure.
